As we reported earlier, it appears as though NXT TakeOver events will be moving to FS1. It also appears that in addition to the move to FS1, that there are plans to potentially increase the number of TakeOver’s annually.
On the latest episode of the No Holds Barred podcast, Joseph Peisich reported that WWE wants to add more NXT TakeOver’s to their live events schedule. They noted that the idea is to extend the number of events to 8 a year instead of 4 or 5.
Regarding adding more NXT TakeOver’s, Peisich said:
“..it looks like they want to increase the number of NXT Takeovers as well. From four to five to at least eight. That’s what I hear and that may start late 2019.”
