It had been reported that Ring of Honor was interested in booking former WWE Champion and UFC Fighter CM Punk for their event at Madison Square Garden next year in conjunction with New Japan Pro Wrestling.
However, it appears as though that will not be happening, as it is being reported that CM Punk has no interest in working for ROH or professional wrestling in general.
In the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reports that people who are close the CM Punk have indicated that he has absolutely no interest at all working again in professional wrestling.
So, unless CM Punk undergoes some massive change of heart, it appears as though we will not being seeing him inside a professional wrestling ring any time soon.
