This year’s WWE SummerSlam PPV is less than 3 weeks away, and it appears as though some people backstage within WWE feel that the event is lacking excitement.
The twitter account @WrestleVotes is reporting that “there is a feeling backstage with some that SummerSlam is lacking excitement so far with the event just 20 days away. I would look for RAW to try and add some juice to SummerSlam tonight.”
It has also been reported by PWInsider that Hulk Hogan and his wife are in Miami today, which just happens to be where tonight’s episode of RAW is being held. No word on whether or not he is going to be at the arena for tonight’s show, or if it is just a coincidence. There have also been rumors that The Rock might show up tonight on RAW in Miami, which is of course his hometown. Both of these rumors seem to line up with the report from WrestleVotes that WWE might be planning something big for tonight’s RAW to help boost interest in SummerSlam.
