Hardeman County Sheriff Issues Statement Regarding The Death Of Brian Christopher Lawler
As we reported yesterday, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has officially opened an investigation into the death of former WWE Superstar Brian Christopher Lawler as requested by the District Attorney’s office.
Brian Christopher was in custody at the Hardeman County Jail following an arrest for DUI, Evading Police, and Reckless Driving that occurred near three weeks ago.
Hardeman County Sheriff John Doolen issued a statement earlier today to WMC Action News 5 in Memphis, TN. According to Doolen’s statement, “because the sheriff’s department had no indication that he was suicidal, he was not on suicide watch.”
“Mr. Lawler, resident of Hardeman County, was arrested for third offense DUI, driving on a revoked driver’s license and felony evading arrest.” Doolen added that Lawler was placed in a cell by himself because of his “notoriety.”
The investigation by the TBI into the death of Brian Christopher Lawler is still ongoing, there is no specific timetable for how long the investigation will take, or if any results from the investigation will be made public.
We will keep you updated as more information surrounding the death of former WWE Superstar Brian Christopher becomes known.
