As was reported yesterday, Hulk Hogan was spotted in Miami, which also happened to be the site of Monday’s RAW. This of course led to speculation from many that Hogan was going to be backstage for RAW and that he might even appear on the program to kickstart a program leading into SummerSlam.
However, it was later revealed that the reason Hogan was in Miami had nothing to do with WWE, instead he was in town to record a music video with Cedric Gervais.
As we saw last night, Hogan did not appear on RAW. Bodyslam’s Brad Shepard discussed Hogan being in Miami Monday, and revealed whether or not Hogan was backstage for RAW, which he was not. You can see Shepard’s comments regarding Hulk Hogan’s trip to Miami, and his WWE status below.
“Hogan was not, I repeat not backstage at Raw. He was in Miami though. He was in Maimi and he did a video shoot but that’s what he was there for. But I think they’re going to do something eventually.”
Hogan posted a video on his official facebook page late in the afternoon Monday, showing him inside of a private jet taking off from the airport in Miami on his way back to Tampa.
