As we saw on last night’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, there was a segment involving WWE RAW Tag Team Champions “The B-Team” and “The Deleters of Worlds”, which resulted in “The Revival” coming down to the ring and demanded that they be given a Tag Team Title shot instead. This eventually led to an impromptu tag match between The Revival and The Deleters of Worlds, with The B-Team on commentary.
This segment and match from last night’s RAW was discussed on the most recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, and Dave Meltzer pointed out that this will most likely build to a Triple Threat Match for the Tag Team Titles at SummerSlam.
Regarding a potential Triple Threat Tag Team Title Match, Dave Meltzer said:
“Just the whole angle the way they went about it, it felt like they were doing a 3-way angle”
It should also be noted that I have had a source tell me last week that they heard The Revival would be getting a Tag Team Title Match at SummerSlam. This now seems to be the case as the events from this week’s RAW would indicate that WWE is building towards inserting The Revival into the program for the RAW Tag Team titles.
