As we reported in our exclusive earlier this week, Matt Riddle has signed a contract with WWE, and is expected to debut for NXT at TakeOver: Brooklyn when he will be sitting ringside.
In an update, during a recent audio update via PWInsider Elite, Mike Johnson confirmed our original report. Johnson stated that a deal between Matt Riddle and WWE has been reached, and that Riddle will be appearing ringside at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn the night before SummerSlam.
Regarding Matt Riddle and his WWE status, Johnson said:
“You very well may see him soon because as far as I know he’s going to be sitting ringside at Takeover.”
