Will Brock Lesnar Be Able To Work For Both WWE & UFC At The Same Time?
Will Brock Lesnar work both WWE and UFC at the same time?
In a recent audio update via PWInsider, Mike Johnson speculated on the topic of whether or not Brock Lesnar may be allowed to work for both WWE and the UFC simultaneously. Johnson went on to state that he feels WWE may actually allow Brock Lesnar to work for UFC at the same time, if he were to re-sign with WWE after his remaining dates have been fulfilled.
WWE has previously allowed Lesnar to work for UFC while still under contract with WWE, as was the case when he fought Mark Hunt last year at UFC 200.
Regarding the possibility of Brock Lesnar working for WWE and UFC at the same time, Johnson said:
“Everything involving Brock is kept very close to the vest to the point that I believe perhaps a dozen people at most know what his true status is. Everyone is expecting him to lose and leave at SummerSlam, but everyone seemed to expect that at WrestleMania and then at the Greatest Royal Rumble. My feeling is that he could easily do UFC and WWE at the same time if he wanted. WWE would allow it. They have before.”
As of right now, Brock Lesnar has 3 appearances left on his WWE contract. Lesnar is scheduled to appear on the RAW before SummerSlam from Greensboro, his match against Roman Reigns at SummerSlam, and his final appearance is set to be on RAW the night after SummerSlam from Brooklyn. It has been reported and heavily rumored that Lesnar is expected to drop the Universal Title to Reigns at SummerSlam, however if Lesnar did end up re-signing with WWE, it is very possible that those plans could change much like they did at WrestleMania.
We will keep you updated if anything more regarding Brock Lesnars WWE and UFC status becomes known.
