As you may already know, Glenn Jacobs, or more commonly known as WWE Superstar Kane, recently won the election to become the new mayor of Knox County, Tennessee.
WWE wrote Kane off of television due to injury, and now that he has won the election as the new mayor of Knox County, it has left many wondering what this means for Kanes future in WWE. On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer commented on what Kane being elected mayor means for his WWE status.
Regarding Kane’s future in WWE, Meltzer said:
“I’m sure he’ll come back at some point and do some special things and he may do a big special thing but you know he’s not going to be touring. He can’t tour now.”
It seems as though Kane isn’t retired just yet, and that he will be back at some point for special appearances or big angles.
