WWE will hold its annual SummerSlam PPV on August 19th, 2018 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
SummerSlam is more than just a single event. Much like WrestleMania, SummerSlam takes over a whole city for the majority of the week featuring various attractions and other events for fans.
WWE will begin hosting events starting the Tuesday before SummerSlam, running throughout the week. SummerSlam week also features many events from other wrestling promotions going on in the area that same week.
Here is the updated schedule of events that are set to take place in New York during SummerSlam week.
Tuesday: August 14
– 7 PM – Screening of the movie “They Live” starring WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper at the Alamo Drafthouse in Brooklyn, NY.
Friday: August 17
– 1 PM – AJ Styles meet & greet at the 40/40 Club inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
– 1 PM – Daniel Bryan meet & greet at the 40/40 Club inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
– 3:30 PM – Alexa Bliss meet & greet at the 40/40 Club inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
– 3:30 PM – Samoa Joe meet & greet at the 40/40 Club inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
– 7 PM – Sheamus and Cesaro autograph signing at Barnes & Noble (112 Eisenhower Parkway) in Livingston, NJ signing the “Making the Mania” book. You may contact the store for more details.
– 7:30 PM – Triple H & Stephanie McMahon meet & greet at the 40/40 Club inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. (This Event is SOLD OUT)
– 7:30 PM – House of Glory Wrestling in Jamaica, Queens at Club Amazura featuring a No Ropes Match with HOG Champion The Amazing Red vs. Anthony Gangone, Low Ki vs. Sami Callihan, Violette & Shee vs. Sonya Strong & Jessicka Havok, Impact Wrestling Champion Austin Aries with an open challenge, The Real1 (fka Enzo Amore), Jessicka Havok, will also appear. – 12:00 AM Midnight – WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler presents “DZ & FRIENDS” a comedy show at Caroline’s Comedy Club. The show will feature Zack Ryder, Tyler Breeze, Renee Young, Charly Caruso and more. For ticket information, click here.
Saturday: August 18th
– 10 AM – Kurt Angle and Paige (together) meet & greet at the 40/40 Club inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
– 10 AM – Braun Strowman meet & greet at the 40/40 Club inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
– 11 AM – Sasha Banks autograph signing at Crickett Wireless store in Brooklyn, NY. (The exact store and location yet to be announced.)
– 12 PM – The Rocks Off Wrestling Boat, a three-hour cruise around New York City that will feature (once the boat sails into New Jersey waters) live wrestling action on the ship’s top deck in front of the Statue of Liberty with John Morrison, Joey Janela, Tommy Dreamer, Hurricane Helms, Teddy Hart, Taya, Nate “Spyder” Webb, Casanova Valentine and Matt Striker already announced.
