As we saw on last night’s episode of RAW, the feud between Elias and Bobby Lashley continued.
Once again, Bobby Lashley interrupted Elias’ musical performance on RAW, which of course resulted in a brawl, leading to a beatdown of Elias. All of which seems to indicate that there is a potential Elias vs. Bobby Lashly match building to a head.
On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer commented on the storyline and mentions that it appears as though WWE is going to add a match between the two at SummerSlam. However, no official announcement has been made as of yet.
Regarding Elias and Lashley’s potential match announcement for SummerSlam, Metlzer said:
“It looks like they’re going to add it. They haven’t announced the match yet, but it is certainly building toward that.”
If WWE does add Elias vs. Bobby Lashley to this year’s SummerSlam, that would bring the total number of matches up to 11.
