Even more details are coming out surrounding the death earlier today of former WWE Superstar Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart.
In a new report from TMZ, Jim’s wife Elizabeth Neidhart reportedly told investigators that Jim had been having difficulty sleeping, and that he had gotten out of bed to adjust the thermostat. She said that as he went to reach for the thermostat that he “turned weirdly as if he were about to dance. He then fell towards the wall and ground.”
She immediately dialed 911 thinking that Jim was having a seizure, because he “suffers from seizures and takes medication for it.”
She added that his last seizure was back in December of last year, and that doctors believed that he may have had Alzheimer’s as well.
When officials arrived to the Neidhart home, they reportedly found Jim on the floor and he had a 4-inch gash on his face.
Investigators reportedly found medication inside the home, but noted that “none of the medication appeared to have been abused.”
Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart was officially pronounced dead a short time later.
