As we have been reporting on, Renee Young became the first woman to sit in and commentate for an entire episode of WWE’s Monday Night RAW last night as she filled in for Jonathan Coachman.
Coachman has been absent in the past, as he often has to take time off to fulfill other obligations. However Coach wasn’t away working for The Golf Channel as he has before, this time it appears as though he was off doing work for the XFL.
It was reported on the latest episode of the No Holds Barred Podcast by Joseph Peisich, that Coachman was not available for last night’s Monday Night RAW because he was on assignment doing prep work for the XFL. You can see Peisich’s comment regarding Coachman’s absence below.
“The Coach was away on assignment, yeah the assignment, he’s doing show prep for the XFL by the way. He’s the voice of that in Madden ’19.”
