IMPACT Wrestling Discussing Huge Plans Involving Chris Jericho?
Chris Jericho is arguably one of the hottest “free agents” in professional wrestling currently, as he has pretty much been able to go and work wherever he wants.
There have been rumors that IMPACT Wrestling could make a play for Jericho, and the possibility was discussed on the recent episode of the No Holds Barred podcast. Joseph Peisich commented on this and mentioned that there could be some interesting plans in store for Jericho.
Regarding Chris Jericho’s potential appearance for IMPACT Wrestling, Peisich said:
“I heard some rumors that the next Impact Wrestling pay-per-view Bound For Glory of course, will happen in New York on October 14th. Well, Chris Jericho may be at that pay-per-view.”
“Chris Jericho, very well known Winnipeg, but his father played for the New York Rangers or whatever. I have heard a scenario that Chris Jericho beats Austin Aries for the title and then loses the title on the Chris Jericho cruise with outside interference from the nWo.”
Brad Shepard also chimed in by mentioning that this is actually an idea that is being kicked around backstage at Impact, and how wild of a time this currently is to be a wrestling fan.
