Randy Orton Makes Joke About Recent Allegations Before Dark Match Following SmackDown Tapings
Last night WWE SmackDown LIVE was held in Greenville, SC and I was in attendance for the event, sitting second row.
The dark match following the 205 Live tapings Randy Orton competed in a six-man tag team match along with Samoa Joe, and Shinsuke Nakamura against the team of AJ Styles, and Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson.
Before the match started Orton went outside the ring and walked over to some of the WWE crew who were also at ringside. Orton reached out and shook the hand of one of the members of the crew, and then Orton and the entire group of crewmen died laughing. This was obviously a joke they had playing off the recent allegations that have been brought against Randy.
The signal was terrible inside the arena last night and I wasn’t able to get out any tweets or updates from the show. But I was able to shoot a text message to former bodyslam reporter Brad Shepard, who posted a tweet along with a picture I took on my phone, regarding the joke between Orton and some of the crew.
Randy Orton wrestled in the dark match main event after #WWE #SDLive. At ringside, Orton offered to shake hands with a WWE crew member and then they both had a laugh. An obvious play on the report about his alleged inappropriate behavior. Clearly, this is being taken seriously. pic.twitter.com/ZPDwiFJCxE
