As was reported yesterday WWE officially announced that Hall of Famer Trish Stratus will wrestle current RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss at the upcoming first-ever all women’s WWE PPV, Evolution in October.
With Evolution looming on the horizon, it appears as though WWE will begin making moves that will play into a potentially huge tag team match for the event. On the latest episode of the No Holds Barred podcast, Joseph Peisich reported that he has heard that WWE could be planning to set up a very interesting match in the near future.
“I have heard that Ronda Rousey and Baszler will be tag teaming up against the Boss and Hug Connection. That is a rumor I just heard.”
It was also reported earlier that Baszler’s loss of her NXT Women’s Title to Kairi Sane, along with WWE showing the other members of the MMA Four Horsewomen in the crowd during the match could be a possible indication that Shayna’s call-up may be imminent. Which would seemingly line up with Joe’s report of the potential tag match for Evolution.
