Following winning the WWE Universal Championship last night at SummerSlam Roman Reigns appeared on tonight’s episode of RAW and vowed to be a fighting champion. Reigns announced that he would defend the Title on RAW, and that it would be against Finn Balor.
Roman Reigns and Finn Balor faced off in the Main Event on tonight’s RAW, in what was a fantastic match. During the course of the match, Braun Strowman’s music hit and he made his way slowly down towards the ring, distracting Reigns momentarily.
Reigns was caught off guard by Balor, but ultimately was able to fend off the offensive flurry to successfully defend his Universal Title. As soon as the match was over Braun entered the ring and attempted to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase. But his plans were thwarted by the return and reformation of The Shield.
Before the referee was able to signal for the bell to ring, The Shield’s music hit and out came Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose wearing their familiar Shield ring attire. The duo joined Roman as they surrounded the ring, saving Roman from Braun’s MITB cash in.

The Shield made their move and rushed Strowman all at once, attacking him with everything they had. Eventually they would make their way outside of the ring, where Ambrose cleared the announce table (Which just coincidentally was at ringside tonight for some reason.) and set Braun Strowman up for their patented Triple Power Bomb.
During the attack Cole and the announcers addressed that the bell never rang and that Strowman’s cash in didn’t count.

RAW went off the air as the group celebrated with their Shield fist pound.
