Who Is Next In Line For A Universal Title Shot Following Roman Reigns Win At SummerSlam?
As we saw last night at SummerSlam, Braun Strowman easily handled Kevin Owens in their match with Strowman’s MITB briefcase on the line. Strowman looked strong in the match, basically working a squash over Owens, who did his job in the match perfectly.
With SummerSlam now in the rear view mirror, and Kevin Owens seemingly left with no direction storyline wise, it has left many fans wondering what is next for KO. On the latest episode of Barn Burner’s No Holds Barred podcast, Joseph Peisich stated that while Kevin Owens may have lost his match at SummerSlam in a very one-sided affair, that he is still in line for a Universal Title shot and push.
It was also noted that that local advertising and marketing for WWE’s upcoming Hell in a Cell PPV has been promoting Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns for the event.
“Braun Strowman and Kevin Owens fought. Strowman won in like 14 seconds but Kevin Owens is in line for a title shot and a push.”

I guess we will get a better understanding of what WWE has in store for the Universal Title picture tonight on RAW. We will keep you updated if we hear anything more.
