WWE Reportedly Bringing One Of Their “Big Four” PPV’s To Toronto Every 3-5 Years
As we have been reporting, WWE is said to be announcing Toronto as the host city for the 2019 SummerSlam PPV when the company rolls into town next week for RAW and SmackDown tapings.
According to a new report from our friends over at Barn Burner, there is a plan in place within WWE that will see Toronto host one of the “Big Four” pay-per-views every three to five years. The deal is said to have already started as WWE held their Survivor Series in the city back in 2016, with SummerSlam reportedly happening next year [2019], the Royal Rumble in 2022 and WrestleMania returning to Toronto in 2025-2027. It was also added that WWE could always decide to swap out the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania ppv’s for their corresponding years.
