Brock Lesnar Already Training For His Upcoming UFC Fight Against Daniel Cormier Next Year
As has been reported on for some time now, former WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar has wrapped up his obligations with WWE, and is now focused fully on his future UFC Heavyweight Title fight against Daniel Cormier some time next year.
In the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Brock Lesnar has already begun “hard fight” training. It was also noted that Lesnar has already started to drop a significant amount of weight.
Lesnar apparently is targeting weighing around 270 to walk around and train at, which is significantly less than what he has weighed previously when competing in the UFC. The idea for Lesnar to train around 270 is that he will not have to cut much weight to get down to 265 for his fight with Daniel Cormier.
As we have previously reported, Lesnar has already been tested three times since re-entering the USADA testing pool back in July.
