As we have been reporting, former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville is no longer under contract with the company and is free to wrestle anywhere he chooses.
It had been speculated that he could show up at ALL IN next week after tweets from Cody Rhodes and Matt Jackson earlier in the week mentioned Neville, and that Matt had spoke to him the other day.
On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed a possible ALL IN appearance from Neville. Regarding Neville potentially being ALL IN, Meltzer said:
“He should probably debut at All In. The place would go crazy. I have 2 schools of thought, 1 would be to announce him during the week you know because you want a big bit of news during the week of the show to pump the pay-per-view.”
“But there’s also a part of me that just goes, ‘is he really going to make one difference in buys?’ He may.”
Meltzer also pointed out that Neville could be used as a potential opponent for Flip Gordon. We will keep you updated if we hear anything further regarding Neville.
