The last Superstar Shake-Up saw WWE Superstar The Miz get traded from RAW to SmackDown LIVE as the last official move from SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan before he stepped down to rejoin the active roster.
The Miz has been a cornerstone of the SmackDown LIVE roster since his arrival, and apparently he is becoming a cornerstone in the locker room as well. According to a report from our friend Joseph Peisich of Barn Burner, The Miz has taken on the role of locker room leader, along with his wife Maryse who was said to also be heavily involved backstage. We had previously reported that Maryse was to return to a full-time role on SmackDown going forward.
It’s said that The Miz has changed a lot lately, and that this new leadership role is part of his new found attitude.
