More News On Plans For Kevin Owens Upon His Return
As we have previously reported, WWE Superstar Kevin Owens quit RAW on Monday after failing to win the Intercontinental Title when Champion Seth Rollins issued an open challenge for the belt.
We reported yesterday that according to a report from Joseph Peisich of Barn Burner, WWE has plans in place for Kevin Owens upon his return that would see him placed with Paul Heyman. We added that Owens would be silent upon his return, allowing Heyman to do the talking for him and that his character would be all about business not talking.
Last night I once again joined Barn Burner’s No Holds Barred podcast and the topic of Owens and his “I quit” storyline. Joseph once again touched on plans, and added a some new details. Peisich said that plans are still for Owens to return with Heyman, but when he does return he will be a much leaner version. It’s said that KO will come back maybe 20-25 pounds lighter, and that there are big plans for him in place.
Regarding Kevin Owens, Joseph said:
“I have heard that KO is going to take a little bit of time off, lose some weight I hear and from what I hear also he will be teamed up with Paul Heyman. That’s the situation that they’re going to go and like I stated yesterday in the No Holds Barred show that KO is going to come back leaner, meaner, and sort of like a Chris Benoit. Wrestling, not talking. Leave the talking to Paul Heyman.”
