At Takeover Brooklyn, EC3 faced off against The Velveteen Dream, in an intense match that saw Dream coming out on top. But during the match, EC3 had suffered an injury when he took some stiff shots and was reportedly said to have a concussion.
According to Mike Johnson on a recent PW Insider Elite audio update, EC3 is still on the injured list at the WWE Performance Center. He had this to say:
“EC3 as of today has not been cleared to return to action. So it just shows you how badly banged up he was because it’s been 3 or 4 weeks now since that show. So he’s still hurting.”
We hope he gets cleared to compete soon enough.
