Two Huge Title Matches Announced For NJPW’s King Of Pro Wrestling Event
Following New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Fighting Spirit Unleashed event Sunday night in Long Beach, the company now heads into NJPW’s King of Pro Wrestling event on October 10th in Tokyo, Japan.
Two huge title matches have already been announced as co-main events for NJPW’s King of Pro Wrestling. Current card listed below:
IWGP Heavyweight Championship Match
Kenny Omega (c) vs. Cody Rhodes (IWGP US Champion & NWA World Champion) vs. Kota Ibushi
IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship Match
Marty Scurll vs. KUSHIDA
– this match is the finals of a 4-man Tournament that was held to determine a new IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion after Hiromu Takahashi was stripped of the belt after suffering a broken neck during his title defense against Dragon Lee at NJPW’s G1 Special from San Francisco back in July.
More matches are expected to be announced this week, possibly as early as today.
