WWE Reported To Have Given Up On RAW Talent
It appears as though WWE has given up on another RAW talent.
Last night prior to RAW going live on the air, WWE Superstar No Way Jose lost a dark match to Mike Kanellis. This is obviously not a good sign for the former NXT fan favorite, who upon his arrival to the main roster was seemingly placed into a position similar to that of former WWE Superstar Adam Rose, which as you may recall did not turn out well at all.
No Way Jose’s current WWE status was a topic of discussion on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio. Meltzer pointed out his loss before RAW to Mike Kanellis, and that “he’s done” as far any push or momentum goes. They noted how after they had the idea to call him up to the main roster and feature him on TV after all the momentum he had in NXT, just to have him now be losing dark matches and sparingly used on Main Event, is not a good sign at all.
Regarding No Way Jose, Meltzer said:
“Yeah, what a waste like seriously to do all that work to a guy who’s losing to Mike Kanellis. But why make a big deal over a guy, if they’re going to do [the conga line] they at least need to make him beat Mike Kanellis.”
