Update On WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne’s Injury – New Details Confirmed
As we reported yesterday, WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne has suffered an injury that has forced him to be pulled from numerous upcoming events. Dunne has been replaced fellow British Strong Style members by Tyler Bate and Trent Seven.
Originally the details regarding Pete Dunne’s injury were not known. It was reported today via the Wrestling Observer that Dunne is suffering from some type of foot injury. Dunne last wrestled back on September 30th, at the Progress Wrestling “Hello Wembley” event from Wembley Stadium. Fans in attendance noted that Dunne appeared to be limping and favoring his leg or foot during the event.
A time table for Dunne’s return has not been revealed. WWE will tape their next set of NXT UK tapings on October 13th & 14th from the Plymouth Pavilion in Plymouth, England. There is no word on whether or not Dunne will be available to compete at the upcoming TV Tapings, but we will keep you updated if we hear anything further regarding Dunne’s status.
