Women’s Title Match Ends In Controversy At Super Show-Down
Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch defended her title against Charlotte Flair at Super Show-Down. As speculated, the match ended controversially. At the beginning of the match, Lynch was in full control, dominating Flair, brawling outside. But the tides would turn as Charlotte fought back, hitting two spears before finally applying the signature Figure 8.
But as was applied, Lynch grabbed the Women’s title which was already in the ring and then she proceeded to hit Flair with it, thus having the referee call off the match and allowing Becky to retain her title. Flair was naturally angry at the outcome and went after Becky, but things clearly didn’t go as planned as she got clotheslined outside and then hit with a Becksploder.
One thing is for certain – the rivalry between Becky and Charlotte is far from over. We will have to wait and see how it progresses.
