As we saw last night on RAW, WWE changed around the Evolution PPV card. Instead of two singles matches, we now get a tag team match between Alexa Bliss & Mickie James and the team of Trish Stratus & Lita.
We talked about this change last night on Barn Burner’s No Holds Barred podcast, and Joseph Peisich commented on the change, pointing out the reason for the decision.
Regarding Alexa Bliss and Trish Stratus’ match being changed to a tag team match, Peisich said:
“I know they just changed the match that Trish Stratus was supposed to have with Alexa Bliss, now it’s a tag team match. Also why? Because Alexa Bliss appears to be more injured than people have said. I don’t know I haven’t confirmed that but from what I’ve heard that’s why they changed that.”
We will keep you updated if we hear anything more about Alexa Bliss’ injury status.
