While Batista might not be competing in a match next week on Smackdown 1000, in his reunion with his Evolution brethren, he will most likely have an angle afterwards.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider mentioned in his latest Q&A that the chance of WWE setting up an angle for Batista to wrestle somewhere down the line is high. Here is what he said:
“Not on the show, but it’s possible they do an angle to set up him wrestling elsewhere down the line.”
Batista might have one last run in a feud involving Triple H, with a payoff match at Wrestlemania. He was always vocal about his desire for this. So, it might just happen.
