WWE Taped Sunday’s Live Event In Boston As Tester For New Tiered WWE Network Plan
According to a report from PWInsider, WWE was taping tonight’s WWE Live Supershow Event in Boston, Massachusetts.
WWE is taping tonight’s Boston house show because the company is testing out a smaller more scaled-down production crew, minus the company’s usual production trucks. The report also stated that WWE is planning on taping next months Starrcade event from Cincinnati, Ohio with a similar sized production crew. The belief is that tonight’s Boston house show taping is a dry-run or run-through for the Starrcade event.
WWE has been contemplating airing some of their house shows exclusively on the WWE Network in the future as part of their new planned $15 tier package that the company has been considering to launch sometime next year.
It is also expected that WWE will be filming more of their scheduled upcoming house show live events over the weeks ahead.
