Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins Match Could Main Event WrestleMania 35 In Wake Of Roman Reigns Departure
Last night following their main event RAW Tag Team Title match victory Dean Ambrose turned on his friend and tag partner Seth Rollins, which saw Ambrose brutally attack Rollins inside and then outside of the ring before taking the belts and throwing them down at the fallen Rollins.
The Dean Ambrose heel turn had been teased for weeks and was apparently supposed to happen later in the year, but plans were changed it appears upon the news of Roman Reigns departure to once again fight leukemia. The future of the RAW Tag Titles is now up in the air also, but what we do know is that we can expect a feature feud between Ambrose and Rollins going forward.
On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez talks about the program we now have between Ambrose and Rollins which began last night on RAW. Alvarez goes on to speculate that WWE’s plans or goals for the feud between Dean and Seth could possible end up with a huge WrestleMania 35 match between the two.
Regarding the potential plans for the Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins program which started last night on RAW, Alvarez said:
“I believe 100% that the WrestleMania main event is Seth Rollins challenging Dean Ambrose for the WWE Title. Now how you get there, I have no idea.”
