Roman Reigns for the longest time has been the face of the company and he had everything Vince wanted in a champion. But now that he has to take time off due to leukaemia, the spot for the top guy of the company is vacant.
On Wrestling Observer Live, Brayan Alvarez was asked via a text message whether Velveteen Dream would be a good pick for the next ”top guy” in WWE. Despite having the abilities required to be the face, Alvarez simply explained why him being the next ”top guy” isn’t feasible yet.
“No. He doesn’t have the size. He’s too young and it’s just not happening right now, maybe someday.”
While him saying ”maybe someday” does lead one to wonder that there just might be a chance Dream might be the face one day, it’s still unlikely and would be far in the future.
