Update On When WWE Will Make A Decision Regarding Crown Jewel’s Future
As we have been reporting, WWE’s upcoming Crown Jewel PPV scheduled for November 2nd is in jeopardy as the future of the event has still not been officially determined. It has also been said that WWE has been “frantically scouting locations” outside of Saudi Arabia incase the company decides to relocate the event.
WWE was expected to make an announcement today regarding the location and status of the event, however as of yet nothing has been confirmed one way or the other. We reported earlier today that Joseph Peisich of Barn Burner has stated that he had heard that WWE has decided to move the Crown Jewel event to the United States, most likely New York instead of holding the event in Saudi Arabia as was originally planned.
In an update to the situation surrounding WWE’s Crown Jewel’s status and location, our friend Brad Shepard is now reporting that that tomorrow’s WWE 3rd quarter 2018 results call will very likely contain a final answer regarding any changes or details to the show. Brad went on to add that WWE is trying to read the situation and how holding, changing or cancelling Crown Jewel would impact their stock and public image.
