Becky Lynch Explains Her Insulting Behavior Towards Edge On Smackdown 1000
Becky Lynch is a mean, vicious champion that will do whatever it takes to win. Currently, she is having the best run of her career as the Smackdown Women’s Champion.
On Smackdown 1000, she went against Edge’s good intentions when he advised her not to go down her current patch or else she would lose all of her friends. Becky didn’t pay heed and instead insulted Edge, telling him to get out of her ring and watch himself on the ropes so he doesn’t get another broken neck. On Busted Open Radio, she explains why she said something like that. This is what she had to say:
“You don’t step into the ring with the champ and condescend the champ like I don’t know what I’m doing. Don’t talk to me like, ‘I’m gonna be lonely, I’m gonna be this, I’m gonna be that.’ I’ve got everything that I want right now. I got everything that’s been passed by me before. I’ve done things — okay they were out of character but they got me to where I want to be.”
She’s clearly thriving in her current heel persona and we have to see what else she does. She will be defending her Smackdown Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair at WWE Evolution.
