Triple H Talks About The Reason Behind Roman Reigns Not Making His Initial Battle With Leukemia Public

Roman Reigns shocked everyone when he announced that he had been suffering from leukemia. He beat it 11 years ago but it had come back again, so he had to take time off to beat it once more. Except many fans had no idea about his first battle.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon appeared on the Elvin Duran Show, where The Game discussed the reason behind Roman not making his first battle with leukemia public. This is what he said:

“Very few people knew about [his first battle]. He and I had spoken about it and this was something that he didn’t want to put out there until he had reached a certain point in his career because he didn’t want people to feel like he was being pitied or given things for a certain reason,” stated Triple H. “He wanted to be able to come out at the end and say, ‘Look, I’ve dealt with this the whole time. You can do anything. This is not an end sentence.’

He also mentioned how they discussed what would happen on Monday Night. He told Roman, “Life is what happens when you’re busy making plans.”

We hope Roman beats the disease and comes back to his yard, which he has worked hard to obtain.
