Samoa Joe made his return on Smackdown Live and laid waste to AJ Styles, and then made it clear that he would be challenging him for the WWE Championship. WWE announced that AJ Styles will be defending his title against Samoa Joe at WWE Crown Jewel. The updated card can be seen below.
