Samoa Joe Makes His Surprise Return On Smackdown Live In Brutal Fashion, Challenges For WWE Title

Samoa Joe wasn’t seen on TV for a long time as he was reportedly out due to injury, but it was never specified what injury, according to Dave Meltzer.

Joe would make his return on tonight’s Smackdown Live and in only a way Joe could do, laid waste to both Bryan and AJ Styles. The two had a fantastic title match which saw AJ winning. The two hugged it out in the ring and showed mutual respect for each other. But then Joe would come from the crowd and viciously attack AJ Styles.

Bryan tried to make the save but he was thwarted by Samoa Joe. He put Styles in the coquina clutch and knocked him out. He took Styles title and raised it over his head, signalling that he is coming for the WWE championship next.
