On Jericho’s cruise, Cody mentioned how he’d like to do another All In and that got fans excited. But according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Cody cleared up what he said and explained what he had actually meant.
This is what he said:
“He said that he’s not going to WWE that he’s going to do everything in his power to do a second ALL IN.”
“Now he clarified to me that in fact he wants to do a second ALL IN but by no means is that a done deal or a sure thing. But he wants to do that and as far as — yeah. He said he’s absolutely not going [to WWE].”
He would go on to do a skit, where he said that he was telling a horror story about being an independent contractor and being booked like a WWE Superstar and traveling on Christmas, thus showing he had no intention of going to WWE at all.
