AJ Styles Defeats Samoa Joe To Retain The WWE Championship At Crown Jewel
AJ Styles and Samoa Joe’s rivalry continued at Crown Jewel as the two faced off for the WWE Championship. The match was made after WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan refused to travel with the company and work the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia, as did John Cena.
AJ came out to a really nice reaction to the Saudi Arabian fans at Crown Jewel. He and Joe put on a great match, but in the end AJ was able to squeak by and come away with another win over his nemesis as Styles retained the WWE Championship.
