The main event of Crown Jewel saw DX take on the Brothers of Destruction. Where DX would pick up the win. But not without getting battered and bruised. Triple H suffered an injury which will require surgery.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed Triple H’s injury and explained which spot injured him. He said The Game was injured much earlier than being chokeslammed through the table by Kane. This is what he said:
“Triple H has what appears to be a torn right pec. He got that I think from the Harley Race bump — that’s what I thought. He came back in and the match was a mess.”
It was a shame that he got injured during such a crucial match. We hope he recovers soon enough and we get to see Triple H again.
