Who Batista Might Possibly Face At Wrestlemania Following Triple H’s Injury
As previously reported, Triple H injured his pec muscle at WWE Crown Jewel and will be missing Wrestlemania, will be the first Wrestlemania he will miss in a long time.
Back at Smackdown 1000, a tease for Batista and Triple H to face off again at Wrestlemania was shown. Plus, the two have so much history that the story would write itself. But sadly, that won’t be happening anymore. Except, that doesn’t mean another member of Evolution can’t face Batista. After all, Randy Orton still is an active superstar.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Randy Orton is the best choice for being Batista’s opponent. Both being members of Evolution, a similar storyline can be made. This is what he said:
“If Batista wants to do it I guess Orton would be the guy and it would probably be a better match now. But it’s not as big of a match. But yeah, that would be the guy though.”
It still depends on Batista himself whether he will do the match or not. Since he has been wanting to face only Triple H for so long and he might not want to face Orton. So we will have to wait and see what happens.
