Roman Reigns’ leukemia announcement shocked the wrestling world as he had to relinquish the title and take a break in order to fight it. So WWE has a lot to do in order to make up for his absence.
Survivor Series is just around the corner and WWE is scrambling to come up with ideas. The theme for this year’s Survivor Series is once again a Smackdown vs RAW affair. But reportedly, the initial plans were not to be as such. This is due to Roman’s announcement.
According to Wrestle Votes, Vince McMahon didn’t want to see Roman Reigns face off against AJ Styles for some reason or another. It is unknown just why this was the case.
So, in the end, we got Brock vs AJ for this year’s Survivor Series and that is a pretty good deal nonetheless, seeing as they gave an excellent match last year. We will have to wait and see what other plans WWE has in store.
