Roman Reigns shocked the world when he announced that he had leukemia which was in remission for 11 years but it had come back. So he had to relinquish the Universal Title in order to fight it. It was a very heartbreaking moment for many fans and superstars backstage as well.
Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that his treatment is already underway and that there is no return date in the future. We do hope he will beat it sooner rather than later, and come back to WWE to an immense pop from the fans, similar to what Triple H got when he came back from injury many years ago.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Roman and his family and we sincerely hope he overcomes this obstacle in his life.
