Last night on RAW, we saw SmackDown LIVE Women’s Champion “The Man” Becky Lynch invade RAW along with the rest of the female members of the SDLive brand.
First, Becky took out Ronda Rousey in the locker room. When the camera cut to the back Becky already had Ronda Rousey locked in her version of the armbar, before eventually releasing the hold and making her way out to the ring area. From there Becky would signal for the rest of the SmackDown women’s roster to come from all sides and attack the members of the RAW Women’s roster already in the ring.
During the skirmish Becky Lynch appeared to have been on the receiving end of a stiff shot to the face from Nia Jax, which resulted a good cut on the side of Becky’s nose which gave her a nice crimson mask for the remainder of the invasion. During the attack Michael Cole mentioned on commentary that Becky Lynch had broken her nose, which continued to bleed throughout the SmackDown invasion of RAW.
In a recent audio update via PWInsider, Mike Johnson discusses the events that went down to close out last night’s episode of RAW. Regarding Becky Lynch’s bloody face Johnson said, “Becky Lynch’s nose gets broken, she’s got all this blood all over the place”. Which would seemingly confirm what Michael Cole said last night on RAW.
While it is not believed that her broken nose last night will cause her to miss any time, it will be interesting to see if she is protected tonight going into Survivor Series on Sunday.
