Update On What WWE Might Do With Ronda Rousey At Survivor Series Following Becky Lynch’s Injury
As we have been reporting, WWE SmackDown LIVE Women’s Champion Becky Lynch suffered what appears to be a broken nose, and reportedly also suffered a concussion during the attack and invasion that she led of the SmackDown Women’s roster against the RAW women’s roster on last nights episode of RAW.
It appears that Becky Lynch has been pulled from Sunday’s Survivor Series PPV as well. Currently nothing official has been released from WWE regarding Becky Lynch’s injury and how it will impact her status for Sunday’s Survivor Series PPV.
Becky Lynch’s status and situation was discussed on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Live, and Bryan Alvarez mentioned that more than likely the show will go on for Rousey without Lynch.
“I don’t know if [Becky Lynch] is out of the match. I was told there is a change to the women’s match. That means she’s being replaced or they’re going to do a three-way to protect her. I don’t know what they’re going to do. But it does appear that a change has been made and [Lynch] may be off the show.”
Currently we are still waiting confirmation as to what Becky Lynch’s official diagnosis is, however it does appear that the situation is more serious than was originally thought. More than likely this will cause WWE to make a change to Rousey’s match at Survivor Series on Sunday.
“So apparently at this exact moment they don’t know the full extent of Becky’s injuries but they are currently discussing a bunch of options with the presumption that she might be off the show Sunday.”
The discussion went on to point out how Ronda Rousey is the current face of the WWE, especially in the wake of Roman Reigns departure to battle leukemia.
We will keep you updated as we hear more regarding Becky Lynch’s injury and status for this Sunday’s Survivor Series PPV.
