Daniel Bryan won the WWE Championship on this week’s Smackdown Live, just before Survivor Series. It was definitely an unpredictable decision by WWE. With that, plans for Survivor Series changed. But this also might have changed plans for TLC as well.
As noted by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE had planned for The Miz and Daniel Bryan to square off for one last time at TLC. But now it is uncertain whether the match will happen or not. This is what he said:
The Miz and Daniel Bryan were scheduled for their blow-off in San Jose [at TLC] I figure that’s out the window now. So I figure they got to do a gimmick match between AJ and Daniel Bryan for San Jose.”
It’s to be noted that they might be a tag team which could help Bryan get more heat from fans. But that’s mere speculation at this point. We will have to wait and see how it plays out.
