Major Change In Smackdown Men’s Survivor Series Team
Daniel Bryan turned heel and won the WWE Championship by defeating AJ Styles. He was the co-captain of the Smackdown Men’s Survivor Series team, so he was removed of that position by Paige.
He would be replaced by Jeff Hardy, who defeated Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas in a match on Smackdown. Smackdown team captain, The Miz, decided that Jeff was worthy to be on the team. But he wanted to kick out Mysterio as he was hand-picked by Bryan and he wanted to remove all traces of Bryan from the team. But instead of that, Paige would have him face Mysterio.
Mysterio would go on to defeat The Miz and retain his spot in the Smackdown Survivor Series team.
