Matt Riddle made waves with his debut in NXT, which was much-anticipated. Before the first match that was scheduled for NXT Takeover: WarGames could start, Riddle made his way to the ring and cut a promo. Shortly after which, Kassius Ohno joined him in the ring.
Matt told Ohno that even though they have a match on Wednesday at NXT, he wanted a piece of him in LA. Everyone was very much into the idea.
So Riddle challenged Ohno to a match and the two had the match. But it was a very short match. Just after the bell rang, Riddle hit Ohno with a knee to the face and picked up the quick victory. Things are looking good for Matt Riddle so far.
