Edge Talks About Becky Lynch Vs Ronda Rousey Becoming The Main Event For Wrestlemania
Becky Lynch won’t be competing at Survivor Series due to her being injured at the hands of Nia Jax, thus the much-anticipated match between Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey won’t happen. But there is a chance of the match being the main event of Wrestlemania.
Edge spoke to Inside The Ropes and discussed Becky’s injury, stating how it won’t setback her career at all. Rather, it’ll improve it as the image of her bloody and confident face is etched in the minds of the WWE Universe and wrestlers alike. This is what he said:
“Strangely, I think it will do nothing but help her because all I saw this morning was her [taunting] with blood all over her face. Alright, well clearly that’s the meme, the gif, the Instapotty whatever you kids call it these days — it’s everywhere.”
“So now I see it that the match at WrestleMania that’s Charlotte and Ronda is now happening this weekend [at Survivor Series] think about what that means […] Becky goes to Mania against Ronda now.”
“I think now that their hand is forced they’re like, right, what is the marquee matchup that happens this weekend? It’s Becky and Rousey. I think they have finally accepted this organic tsunami that is Becky’s popularity.”
We do hope Becky gets her dues. As for what she might do next, there is a big chance of her feuding with Nia Jax in order to get her revenge. We will have to wait and see what happens.
